Located at the southernmost point of Lake Zurich and directly on the harbour, the Marina Lachen is the epitome of a feast for the eyes and the palate in one. The "Steakhouse" is the name of the successor concept to the "Ristorante". The idea behind it is as simple as the name. Open grill, butcher's counter and wine bar, everything to look at, touch and take away. But it's not just meat lovers and wine connoisseurs who get their money's worth against the unique backdrop of the lake, but also aesthetes. Oak floors, thick, solid tabletops with knotholes and leather chairs contrast with modern ceiling design. The unconventional shapes of the striking ceiling sails are repeated on the privacy screens and in the outdoor area. The ceiling elements combine aesthetics and functionality and provide the right atmosphere. After all, a good meal requires good conversation. And good conversations need good acoustics. "We were convinced by the variety of designs, shapes and colours, but also by the simple fact that the Bruag acoustic elements are easy to clean," say interior designers Simone and Markus Locher, who are often asked about the attractive acoustic solution. The brown glazed screens in the outdoor area harmonise excellently with the wooden terrace floors on the one hand and create an attractive connection to the indoor area through the repetition of the shapes on the other.
