The Finnish company “Wärtsilä” has a long tradition. Founded in 1834, the company is a leading manufacturer of ship engines and other energy sources. The architects of Wärtsilä's new headquarters in Norway have placed special focus on interior design. Bruag is proud to have helped fulfil this mission and delivered perforated oak plywood panels that combine old and new. The plywood reminds you of nature, while the perforation may be regarded as a sign of an innovative 21st century company. Not only the perforation, but also the panel colour has been individually tailored. A perfect fit between the panels and the floor has been achieved through use of a colourless paint supplemented by 1% white pigment.
